Is Kabaneri a copy of AOT?

Kabaneri is the zombie-steampunk version of Attack on Titan. Humanity is boxed inside walls and has been safe for very long. An easy one would be the whole “Nine Titans” part of the story. One might say that AoT creator Hajime Isayama was inspired by Kishimoto's Naruto in where it revolves around “Nine Tailed Beasts” and its users.

Isayama later would confirm that Attack on Titan was inspired in part by Muv-Luv Alternative, the second visual novel in the Muv-Luv visual novel series. Isayama estimated his basic monthly timeline as one week to storyboard and three weeks to actually draw the chapter.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (甲鉄城のカバネリ Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri) is an original TV anime series, produced by Wit Studio for Fuji TV's Noitamina block. The series aired each Friday after midnight at 24:55 o'clock.

The manga series Naruto and Attack on Titan tell vastly different stories with very different tones, yet they may actually share similar villains. Ultimately, Naruto's Kaguya the Ten Tailed Beast and Attack on Titan's Founding Titan Ymir actually have much more in common than fans might initially think.

This show is Ufotable's attempt at creating what is clearly a science-fiction version of Attack on Titan. In the distant future, humanity is almost extinct due to creatures called Aragami. The Fenrir organization stands between these creatures and humanity's annihilation.

Isayama isn't shy talking about the influences on his seminal work. Berserk is never mentioned, and it shouldn't be any surprise to anyone. There is very, very little Attack on Titan shares with Berserk outside of a fascination with gore and brutality, something which is far from exclusive to Berserk.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress was directed by Tetsurō Araki and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with music by Hiroyuki Sawano and original character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto. The series was broadcast on Fuji TV's Noitamina block from April 8 to June 30, 2016, with a total of 12 episodes.

Ikoma (生駒, Ikoma) is the main protagonist of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and the deuteragonist of The Battle of Unato. As a child, Ikoma lived with his younger sister Hatsune until their station was invaded by the Kabane and in the chaos, she was caught by a stray Kabane and killed.

Mumei is a Kabaneri, which grants her superhuman abilities.

Part of the reason there has been such a long wait to date is that the first two seasons of Seraph Of The End covered all of the manga editions' creator Takaya Kagami had penned. In short, Seraph Of The End season 3 didn't go into production because there was no substantial remaining manga for Wit Studio to adapt.

Objectively, I believe that AOT is a better anime, like how it does not have too many filler and it is fast-paced with a very unique storyline and fighting, a normal human equip with unique gear to fight gigantic Titan. It also possess extravagant twists, and dramatic/epic scene that would WOW the viewer.
