Is Kabaneri an AOT clone?

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: (Not) An Attack on Titan Clone.

This is not (no it isn't) a rip off of AOT and it isn't A Bad Series I know most people think that it is an Attack on Titan rip off - but it really isn't. Two things: 1) Nothing can compare to AOT and 2) No it isn't. Both series have elements that are similar but ultimately both are different series.

According to fans, Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress is the obvious choice for those who love Attack on Titan. Taking inspiration from AoT, the story takes place during the Industrial Revolution, and a virus is killing people. Those infected become monsters, and humanity has few ways to kill them.

Araki would cede directorial duties of the later seasons to Masashi Koizuka (while maintaining the role of chief director), so that he could focus on his anime original, the Attack on Titan-influenced Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

Isayama isn't shy talking about the influences on his seminal work. Berserk is never mentioned, and it shouldn't be any surprise to anyone.
