Is there Kabaneri Season 2?

In spite of this popularity, Kabaneri still has yet to receive a second season for its original anime series, with the time in between making a new season seem increasingly unlikely. However, it has received a manga based the series, as well as several movies.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Battle of Unato (甲鉄城のカバネリ 〜海門決戦〜 Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri: Unato Kessen) is an anime movie set six months after the anime series.

Mumei is a Kabaneri, which grants her superhuman abilities.

kabane, (Japanese: “family name”), hereditary title that denoted the duty and social rank of an individual within the Japanese sociopolitical structure from the late 5th to the late 7th century. Titles, or kabane, included the categories omi, muraji, tomo no miyatsuko, and kuni no miyatsuko.

Unfortunately in his struggle against a Kabane he was bitten and thus was forced to use metal straps (bolted onto his body) and a choker around his neck in order to prevent the infection from spreading into his brain. Fortunately, Ikoma was fast enough to resist the infection, and transformed himself into a Kabaneri.

There's barely any filler in the show which makes it packed full of plot. The villain is truly despicable, developing a hatred for him in just a couple episodes. Overall well done. I would give it a 10 if there were more episodes since some it did feel rushed in some of the backstory and plot points.

Throughout Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress' first season, the duo had a strictly platonic relationship based on the fact that they were the only two surviving kabaneri in the world. In the 3-part movie, however, the creators showed Mumei having a random one-sided crush on Ikoma.

An easy one would be the whole “Nine Titans” part of the story. One might say that AoT creator Hajime Isayama was inspired by Kishimoto's Naruto in where it revolves around “Nine Tailed Beasts” and its users.

Enhanced Regeneration: His wounds evidently regenerate much more quickly, his vitality making him capable of recovering from a wound that is fatal to humans.

Powers and abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, regeneration, energy projection. Intelligence: Very high.

It's totally worth the watch. Just because 2 anime share similarity in concept and sub-genre or even genre doesn't make you question the worth of the anime rather it must make the person fall for the anime even more. Mumei realizes that Biba had given white blood to Ikoma while both of them were unconscious. Mumei then returns Ikoma's memento stone.

In the end, Biba's ideals are destroyed by his death at the hands of Mumei. He was wrong to say that the way of the world is that the strong survive and the weak should die. The very fact that the fatal blow is delivered by Mumei and not Ikoma confirms this, as well as her last speech to him.
